Just Friends, Right? — The Corrupted Gym File

Too late. The clip went viral before we reached the gym. For once, strangers shared my words instead of mocking my body. Coach Brooks opened the ballot box.

Avery received eight votes. Avery smiled. Mia received nine. Zoe grabbed my hand.

Coach Brooks gave me the camp leader band. Serena appeared in the doorway. Congratulations. Her voice was cold.

That night, another video appeared online. It showed me arguing with Grant during practice. Team USA's new leader cannot control her temper. The edited video showed me saying,

Do not touch me. It cut out the stunt. It cut out Grant lifting before my count. It made me look reckless.

Coach Brooks called me into her office. National captains cannot attack teammates. I stopped an unsafe lift that is not what the public saw we need the full recording the gym camera stores everything that file was corrupted

Serena folded her hands I looked at her she did not blink outside the office Zoe checked every athletes phone no one had filmed the full exchange you You recorded it.
