How to Measure AI Drama Sponsorship Results on GW
Report sponsored Shop presentations, product opens, saves and store clicks on GW. Understand recorded conversions and share results with your own sponsors.
By The Generated Worlds editors · Published
AI drama creators can measure sponsorship results on Generated Worlds through the activity attached to a sponsored product placement: Shop presentations, product-page opens, saves, valid store clicks and recorded attributed orders. For sponsors you bring, GW also provides a results-page link you can share.
Use this information to explain what viewers did after encountering the product. It supports a brand conversation without treating views, clicks and purchases as the same result.
Know what each metric means
| Metric | What it records | What it does not establish |
|---|---|---|
| Shown | Presentations of the product in Shop | Unique video viewers |
| Opened | Product-detail opens | A store visit or purchase |
| Saved | Product saves | A completed order |
| To their store | Valid tracked store clicks | A guaranteed purchase |
| Orders and sales | Recorded conversions attributed to the deal | Every sale the sponsor received |
Shop presentations are not the creator's Instagram impressions or a count of unique people watching the episode. Keep those figures separate in your report.
Product-detail opens and store clicks also describe different stages. A viewer can inspect a product without visiting the merchant's store.
Set expectations before the placement
Agree on what the sponsor wants to learn. Is the collaboration testing interest in a product, driving store visits, or measuring attributable sales?
Identify the episodes, moments, product and reporting period. If Instagram promotion is also included, record its results separately and label the source.
For conversion reporting, check whether the merchant's tracking can supply orders associated with the placement. A zero recorded order count is not enough to conclude that nobody purchased.
Review the deal results
Open the collaboration in Brand deals. Once reporting is available, the deal view shows product presentations, opens, saves, store clicks and recorded orders.
Check the selected moments and timing first. If the placement is not live or has little activity, avoid presenting an early report as the outcome of a full campaign.
A GW-paid placement's delivery-based payment and its shopping results are separate. A recorded click count does not determine the agreed creator allocation unless a separate performance arrangement says otherwise.
Share results with a sponsor you brought
For My sponsors collaborations, the deal view provides a token-based results-page link. Send it to the sponsor with a short explanation of the placement and reporting period.
A useful note is:
> Your product was presented in [episode and moment] during [dates]. The attached report shows [presentations], [product opens] and [valid store clicks]. Orders are included only where the tracking recorded them. Here is the placement we suggest testing next: [proposal].
Treat the report link as something shared deliberately with your sponsor, rather than assuming an email was sent automatically.
Use the results to improve the next collaboration
Compare like-for-like placements. Use similar reporting periods and explain differences in episodes, audience and promotion.
A scene with many product opens but few store clicks may suggest that the product interested viewers but the next step needs work. This is a hypothesis to test, not a diagnosis from the count alone.
For renewal discussions, propose a specific next moment or a clearer product fit. Avoid promising a sales outcome based on one early placement.
Common questions
Are Shown counts the same as video views
No. They record Shop product presentations, not unique episode viewers.
Can I report orders for any sponsor product
Only when conversion data is recorded and attributed. External sponsor stores may not supply that information.
Does a zero order count mean no sales happened
Not necessarily. Establish tracking coverage before interpreting the number.
Can my own sponsor see its results
Yes. My sponsors provides a report link that you can share from the collaboration view.
