How to Price AI Drama Brand Deals and Calculate Your Take Home

Price AI drama sponsorships per moment, calculate GW's 12% placement fee and account for studio costs. Separate marketplace deals from your own sponsors.

By The Generated Worlds editors · Published

Price an AI drama brand deal around the moments and work you agree to deliver, rather than applying a fixed rate to your follower count. On Generated Worlds, creators set an asking price per moment and negotiate with advertisers. The current fee for a deal paid through GW is 12%, leaving an 88% creator allocation when the delivery conditions are met.

Your own sponsors use a different route: My sponsors does not process the brand payment and carries no GW placement cut on eligible plans.

Start with the deliverable

Define how many moments the brand wants, which episodes they belong to, the product association and the live-by date.

Then account for the work. A Shop placement in existing footage, a newly produced scene and an Instagram promotional post have different scopes. Specify any production changes or social promotion separately.

For a recurring drama, consider how the product fits the character and whether the placement is exclusive. Describe the exclusivity you actually agree to; a slot setting is not automatically a broad category-wide contract.

Use asking prices to start the conversation

GW's open moments have an asking price. Advertiser briefs show a range per moment, and the application lets you choose moments and propose your price.

The current system minimum is $50 per moment. This is a product limit, not an average market rate or a recommendation that every creator should charge $50.

Both sides can discuss the moments and price before confirmation. Check the total deal value if several moments are involved.

Calculate the GW-paid creator allocation

The current formula is:

Creator allocation = agreed deal amount × 0.88

Agreed totalGW fee at 12%Creator allocation
$100$12$88
$300$36$264
$650$78$572
$1000$120$880

These are examples of the current fee calculation, not typical deal sizes or promised income. They do not subtract your production costs, subscription or taxes.

Brand Deals requires Scale or Established. Scale is currently $499 a month. If you upgrade solely for GW-paid sponsorships, about $567.05 in total deal revenue covers $499 after the 12% platform fee, before any other costs.

A plan may support more than sponsorships, but assess the costs that apply to your own studio.

Understand the payment sequence

A conversation is not a paid booking. The advertiser confirms through payment, which GW holds, and the creator confirms the terms.

You then set each moment's timing. When all agreed moments are placed and their episodes are live, the creator allocation is credited to the earnings balance. Bank payout follows the normal verified payout process.

This release condition does not depend on guaranteed product sales. Deadline and dispute handling still apply, so agree on a realistic delivery date.

Calculate your own sponsor arrangements separately

If you bring a sponsor, agree on and collect the payment directly. A $300 direct sponsor payment is not reduced by GW's 12% marketplace fee.

Do include the plan subscription and production costs. If an affiliate commission or sales bonus is part of the arrangement, define that separately; a Shop placement does not establish those payments by itself.

Common questions

Does having 10000 followers set my rate

No. It can be relevant to the brand conversation, but the price depends on the placement and any work or promotion included.

Is $50 the recommended rate

No. It is the current minimum accepted per moment by the placement workflow.

Is an 88% creator allocation the same as profit

No. It is the allocation after the GW platform fee. Your other costs remain.

Does GW charge 12% on sponsors I bring

Not through My sponsors on the eligible plans. Payment stays between you and your sponsor.
