Armor Against Oblivion (BL) — A Physics Lesson

The whole damn station just shook. Perry, look at me. What causes thunder? Air expanding too fast. Out.

Lightning heats the air, the air expands, and the pressure wave makes the sound. That's all this is. The storm is outside, the glass is reinforced, you're safe. Great.

I'm having a panic attack, and you're giving me a physics lesson. Is it working? Barely. But I'm still scared.

I don't have a home anymore. I want Mae back. May died on a night like this. Then the veil took everyone who still knew me.

When she was gone, I had nowhere left to call home.
