Cluckstruck — Alexander's Strange Expression

He really is gorgeous. Alexander's eyebrow twitched. Anyone want to guess what it's like watching a chicken in a designer dress sob its eyes out? She used to be so lively as a little kid. She'd smile at everyone she met.

When she was seven, we took her to Starlight Amusement Park. Alexander, who'd still been trying to push the black card away, went still. After that, she couldn't look at faces normally anymore. At first, anyone who got close, she'd scream.

It got worse and worse. Eventually, even photos would set off seizures. We took her to so many doctors over the years. And nothing worked.

In the end, hypnosis was the only option to make her brain replace every face with that The rubber chicken. Right. I know it sounds absurd, but...

At least she could finally live a normal life. The room went quiet. I was about to comfort her when I noticed something off about Alexander's expression.
