The Forgotten Fortune — The CPS Investigation

Theron, you think freezing my cards will break me? Aveline, what happened? Therion is beyond saving. He let that woman hit Cordinia, got her ostracized at school,

and froze my credit card so I'd be humiliated at the grocery store. That son of a bitch. What do you need? He wants me to surrender and take all of this lying down. Not a chance.

Calus, I want you to launch a full-scale investigation into Isolared Media It's a shell company Theron set up for his mistress using company funds. No problem. I've already gathered all the evidence you asked for on Theron's affair and embezzlement. Now we finally have grounds to go after that bitch Isolette, too.

Exactly. We need to stay one step ahead if we want to leave nothing to chance. Understood. What are you planning to do next? There's a board meeting tomorrow. I'm going to win the board's support and take back the Theron is a bastard who'll stoop to anything when he's cornered. You'd better be careful.

I'm not afraid. I have nothing left to lose. Miss Beaulieu, I'm Diane Hanson with Child Protective Services. This is Officer Doyle. We received an anonymous report alleging that you physically abused your minor child in your home.

That's a lie!
