A Touch of Betrayal — The Shield Calendar

There are matters abroad I need to sort out Maximum two months No! Daddy, don't go! No!

Leo, look at me Daddy isn't leaving you He's going away to protect this family. Every day, we'll draw a little shield on the calendar.

When the shields fill it up, Daddy will be home. Really? I'll wait with you. Take care of Leo.

And take care of yourself, too. Daddy! When you come back, will Nora still be my mom? If she wants to be, then she always will be.

From that day on, Leo became my little shadow. Luca said it would be at most one month. Yet two months went by. and he had not returned.
