To watch AI short dramas in a browser, start with Generated Worlds (GW) or Cinely. On GW, check the live free-episode count on each series and play an available free episode without installing an app. FizzTV is an iOS app whose US listing describes paid subscriptions. Video-generation tools and title indexes serve different needs; they are not interchangeable with a streaming catalogue. Historical comparison entries below keep their own source-check dates.
This guide is published by Generated Worlds, which is one of the platforms in it. That is worth knowing before you read the table, so it is stated here rather than in a footer. What follows is written to be useful to someone who has not decided yet, which means the entries for the other seven are written the way we would want ours written.
One distinction does most of the work in this category and almost nobody draws it: whether a platform PUBLISHES original AI work, GENERATES it for you, or INDEXES what other apps made. Those are three different products that all describe themselves as short drama, and picking the wrong one is the usual reason people bounce off the category entirely.

What about ReelShort, DramaBox and NetShort?
They are the largest vertical drama apps in the world and they are mostly not what this page is about. Their catalogues run to tens of thousands of series — ShortDrama.st alone indexes over 97,000 — and the overwhelming majority is conventionally shot with human casts. If what you want is vertical melodrama at volume, they are the answer and no AI-native platform is close on catalogue size. If what you specifically want is AI-generated work, their AI sections are small and hard to filter for.
What to check before you commit to a series anywhere
- How many episodes are free, stated as a number rather than as "start free". Three and thirty are both common.
- How many episodes are actually available and whether the creator explains the release schedule or ending. A Completed label alone does not verify that the story has concluded.
- Whether subtitles exist in your language, on the episodes rather than on the trailer.
- Whether unlocking costs a subscription or a coin balance, and whether unspent coins expire.

Is there a free AI short drama platform?
On GW, creators choose free and paid episodes; each series shows its current free count, and some available runs are entirely free. Cinely also identifies free openings on some Watch cards. Free to download or browse is not a free full series: FizzTV lists paid subscriptions. Other entries retain historical source-check dates; confirm their current access on the linked source.
Is any AI short-drama platform adult content?
One of the eight here is. CHUNLOU, checked on 2026-08-29, is built almost entirely on sexually explicit material: the genre it lists most is Forbidden Romance, and the titles and synopses on its own browse page are unambiguous. It displays no age verification, no content rating and no terms page, so nothing warns you before a series plays. The other seven platforms in this comparison are not adult sites.
What is the difference between AI short drama and regular short drama?
Only how it is produced. The format is identical — vertical episodes of one to three minutes, serialized, built for phones. AI short drama is made with generative or AI-assisted tools instead of a conventional shoot, which changes what a small team can attempt and what the results look like.
Do I need an app to watch AI short dramas?
No. GW lets viewers play available free episodes in a mobile or desktop browser without installing an app. Cinely also has a browser Watch page. FizzTV is listed as an iOS app. A title index that links to another service does not necessarily host the episodes itself.
Which platform pays creators?
Four of the eight are open to independent creators, and they are open in different ways. Generated Worlds publishes a creator revenue share of 80% of net and lets the creator choose which episodes are free, while the platform sets one price for every paid episode. Cinely publishes creator series under their own handles and says in its blog posts that creators receive 70% of unlock coins, though that figure is not in its terms.
