The Bride They Pitied

18 episodes·Completed·First 10 episodes free

An Indian village pitied the bride. Nobody asked who her husband was. Anaya is the daughter nobody fought for — handed to a poor household so her sister could marry for love. Her husband Arjun cannot walk, and every neighbour tells her she has thrown her life away. She opens a jalebi stall with him instead, and it works. Then a stranger from the city says Arjun's name like it means something, and the accident that put him in that chair turns out to be the smallest thing that was taken from him.
