Love, Misfired — The Uninvited Fan

So I waited until I got into the same college as him. But Lucas was still exactly the same. Beautiful girls were always around him. He never dated any of them, but called them friends. Little by little, I realized the truth. I was just one more girl in that long list of

friends. We have a scrimmage today. Come watch with me. I couldn't really say no. As long as Lucas was there, I still wanted to see him play. The moment we walked onto the baseball my heart sank. He was really that unhappy to see me. Hey, Lucas. Your little fangirl's here again. Why are you here? He was really that unhappy to see me. Lucas, I asked her to come with me.

You only invited me, but I didn't want to sit here by myself. She almost liked acting cute in front of him. She had been invited. I hadn't. I was the one who showed up uninvited. It's so pathetic.

The scrimmage got underway soon. Lucas! Chloe excitedly shouted Lucas' name to cheer for him. Lucas looked over at our seats quite a few times.

Look, Lucas keeps looking at me. I'm worried it will affect his game. She had nothing to worry about. I rolled my eyes in my mind. Lucas was no match for him. The other team was too strong. Their batting, defense, and coordination were way better than Lucas's team. Between innings, Chloe walked over with a bottle of water for Lucas. Looking at

Lucas took it without a word.
