The Fortieth Curse — The Adoption Dispute

A healing sprite bearing the vine of life was never going to be easy to find. As long as you're safe, we'll figure the rest out. But I brought her back. We've been looking for a sprite to break the family curse for a hundred years.

Can't rush it. Who is she? Her name's Mia, an orphan. She saved my life in the forest. Father, can we adopt her?

The kid's been distant since he was little. The first time he's ever begged me for someone else. Absolutely not! Luke is too damn soft. The Falcone power will be all mine eventually. This little bastard is definitely here for a piece of the inheritance.

Carmela, Mia saved my life! Don't be naive. We're the biggest mafia family. You know how many gangs are gunning for us who knows if this little beggar is just hired bait Shut up big brother. Don't fight because of Mia

Mia can go back to the forest. I can live with my animal friends Mia this is your home. I'm not letting you go No. Non è un problema.

Watch out!
