Watch this episodethank you someone beside us suddenly scoffed bro I never knew you were into to bigger girls. Miles's expression sharpened. What the hell do you mean, Logan? Logan tossed a stack of posters onto his desk. A gift for you. Aren't these exactly your type? Who the fuck would be into a pig? Logan raised an eyebrow. All right, I saw you switch seats,
so I thought you were inter. Logan's friends joined in, whooping and whistling until Everyone in class was staring at us. Miles muttered a curse under his breath. Without another word, he grabbed his backpack and books
and slunk back to his old seat. I stared at the scattered posters. The cinnamon rolls in my hands slowly went cold. Why did you do that?
What are you, that desperate for attention? Do you fall all over every guy who sits next to you? After that day, not just Miles, but every boy in our grade avoided me like the plague.
The cheerleaders and the other girls didn't want much to do with me either. Everyone liked bright, cheerful girls who seemed to carry California sunshine wherever they went.
I felt like a lump of dough shoved into the oven before it had time to rise. Neither pretty nor appealing. I was stuck at the bottom of the high school food chain.
After bottling everything up all day, I thought a venti frappuccino would cure my misery. It didn't. Apparently, sweets couldn't solve every problem.
Halfway through PE, on Friday, a sudden downpour hit.
