Fake It Till We Kiss — Riley's Warning Call

I even smiled. Survival rule number one, never run to the teachers. Let the wolves fight their own battles. After Margo strutted away, I snapped a selfie of my bruised face and bloody lip.

I texted it to Chelsea. Chelsea, Margo just attacked me because I wouldn't tell her where Jax was. She also called the girls in 302 trash, said none of you could ever get a guy like Jax. Chelsea lived for her reputation. Touching me meant stepping on her crown.

Besides, I'm now undeniably Jax's girlfriend in her eyes. After the last bell, Chelsea and her lapdogs cornered Margo in the locker room. I heard Margo's screaming and hair pulling inside the locker room, but I walked away without a flicker of emotion. Then my phone buzzed. Unknown caller ID.

Chloe, I'm Jax's mother, Riley. I hear you're seducing my son.
