Forever 19 — Noah Avery's Arrival

boyfriend my name is noah avery i'm 27 i'm not the 35 year old man you met eight years ago if simon's missing find him if he's dead mourn him but you can't grab a stranger off the street and decide he's your boyfriend then look at him you expect me to believe i just happened to someone who looks exactly like him plenty of people look alike you can find them online do

they look at me the way you do do they move like you the man in that photo is in his 30s look at the lines around his eyes do i have them how could we be the same person he had little lines around his eyes and around his mouth when he smiled then you know we're not the same the way you look at me the way you talk none of that has changed

and I'd know your kiss anywhere you should talk to a therapist that's exactly what Matthew said you remember Matthew Reed he's a doctor now the world's worst he can't fix me eight years later and somehow you're even more beautiful I'm sorry mr. Hartley I can't recommend a better therapist I'm not

I'm not Simon. You met my fiancee this afternoon. We're getting married soon. Why did you disappear for seven years? Simon, you said I was just infatuated. That it wasn't love. It's been eight years. Eight years. I love you!
