The King She Chose — Adrian's Royal Vow

When I'd lost all hope, Adrian swept in and saved me. Touch what's mine and you die. Merthyr, your highness, I didn't know she was yours. Your highness.

Lady Isabeau and I have met once before. I fell in love with her at first sight, and I will marry no one else. From this day forward, anyone who harms her makes an enemy of the royal house. Welcome, Princess Consort.

From now on, the Princess Consort's word is my command. Anyone who disrespects her will be expelled at once. Yes, your highness. He did so much for me.

He even told me he loved me. He even took an arrow for me. It was all a scheme. I will never regret this.

But no one is to know about the switch until the wedding.
