Crowned in Fire — Episode 5

The binding blood-pat still holds sway over me. I know. I will not press you to choose this very hour. This seat remains reserved in your name. Lady Valeria! Her Holiness has arrived.

The Duke bids you attend her chambers of white flame without delay. Her Holiness commands that you put this on. She wishes to see whether the place you have kept for her these eight years still holds you as it should. Step closer.

So far away, do you expect me, the Saintess, to look up at you? This gown is a relic I abandoned here four years past. I did not expect it would look so becoming on you. Anything belonging to your holiness is inherently fine.

Valeria, you are far too fond of concealing your wrist. Do you dread others laying eyes upon Loras's gift to you? Have you forgotten the rules again? Henceforth, unveil your brand whenever you stand in my presence.

Understand that you weren't invited. You're pulled in by the blood pact. I comprehend. Remember, Goldwing Citadel sustains you not out of mercy, but for your utility.

You shall keep your gaze lowered until the Saintess days to address you. Take her to the side tower. Keep her far from the main hall.
