His gaze dropped to my bare ring finger. then to my wedding ring on Sophia's finger. His eyes went cold, but his voice was still gentle. Sorry I'm a little late.

You're not late. Not at all. At least he got here before I married the wrong man. Leon Dracus, stay out of this.

She's my bride. Leon's expression didn't change. She was. Not anymore.

Leon's words hit Nico like a slap. His friends exchanged uneasy looks. I watched Nico slowly lose his composure, But I felt nothing.

Not even a little satisfaction. That's when I knew I was really over him. Mr. Dracos, maybe you don't know this, but Daphne and Nico are engaged. The whole island knows they were supposed to get married today.

Take her away. What will people say about her? She acted like she was looking out for me. But she was really trying to shame me into staying.

She's been humiliated enough today. And you know exactly whose fault that is, Miss Lascaris. You! Leon ignored her and raised his hand.

A man stepped forward with a velvet box. Inside was a new pair of wedding rings. Then I finally noticed the decorations. They looked almost exactly like the design Nico had rejected.

I had someone find your old sketches. No one should have changed what you love.
