Sisters — Episode 1

Ten years after I was forced to marry Mafia Don Anthony DeLuca in my twin sister's place, Isabel came back. She told Anthony I'd pushed her into a river because I was after the high life. She claimed the fall had erased her memory and stolen ten years they should have had together.

Anthony flew into a rage. He had his men lock me in the basement. Then Isabel walked in carrying a steel chain. She looped it around my neck and pulled with both hands.

Sorry, Liliana, but as long as you're breathing, my whole story could unravel. She strangled me to death. Even as I took my last breath, my eyes stayed open, burning with rage. But when I opened my eyes again, I was back on the very day Anthony first fell for This time, I stepped forward before anyone could decide my fate.

Just go, Izzy. Take your boyfriend and get out of here. I'll marry Anthony. This time, I would make the most powerful mafia Don fall desperately in love with me. My entire family stared at me in shock. Isabel looked like her eyes were about to pop out of her head.

Look at us. We've got the exact same face. Put me in the wedding dress, and Anthony won't suspect a thing. Mom hesitated. It's great you're stepping up for Isabel, but it's the mafia we're talking about.

If Anthony finds out we played him, he'll kill us all. Dad made the decision right then.
