Born to Rule — Episode 5

Don't be ridiculous. That's your room. Alessia? You just got here. Don't start taking things from Chloe. Did I say I wanted it?

The room went silent. Chloe bit her lip. I just thought you might mind. Chloe, you're impressive. No one asked, and you've already written the whole script.

Do you always have to be so rude? I'm not. I'm just a Morelli. We prefer things clear.

And if you want to play the victim, at least make it convincing. Alexia, you just got here. Don't start causing trouble. I looked at them.

All three of them were protecting Chloe. Strangely, it didn't hurt. I already understood. They hadn't brought their daughter home.

They'd brought home someone they expected to fall in line. Too bad. Morettis don't fall in line. The butler took me upstairs.

Chloe followed. At the end of the hall, she opened a small door. Dust filled the air. Old boxes covered the floor.

Oh my god. Alessia, I'm so sorry. I didn't know they hadn't cleaned it. I can move out tonight.

You can have my room. I stared at the dusty bed. Then I turned to the butler. This is the room you prepared for your biological daughter?

Mr. and Mrs. Hale said it was only temporary.
