Ocular — Episode 4

Sit down, Mr. Hastings. Why did you say that in front of everyone? Because they already know. Pretending doesn't help. But now they're going to-

What? Be scared of me? They already were. How long have you been following me? Since you walked out of class. Go back. This isn't for you.

You don't get to decide that. You shouldn't be here. I know. I brought someone. She's Morningstar.

She has light sight. The seeing eye? You can see the curse? I can try. Don't. I've seen what happens when people try. They break. Like me.

Your restraints are failing. Same thing. You didn't break, father. You chose to lock yourself in here. You can see that? She's strong.

I know. Why didn't you tell me your father was here? Because I don't tell anyone. But you told me.

Yes. Take care of him. He won't ask for it, but he needs it. Your father isn't crazy.

No. He's the strongest person I know. He's been down there for twelve years. So he wouldn't hurt anyone.

You're afraid you'll end up like him. I'm afraid I'll end up worse. My great-grandfather destroyed towns. My father locked himself away.

What will I do? You'll find a way. You're not your great-grandfather, and you're not your father. Don't promise something you can't keep. I'm not promising. I'm seeing.
