had a moment to breathe my mind filled with him so today i deliberately bought a pack of extra thin in condoms at a drugstore with his black card still linked to my account. I just wanted to see how he would react. And he came. He had left his Sicilian estate overnight and rushed straight to the hotel where I was staying for work. I thought we were getting back together.

But after we slept together, he told me he was getting married. Gee, I'm getting married. When Dante came out of the bathroom, he had nothing but a towel around his waist. Under the dim light, the muscles across his shoulders and back stood out.

He walked to the bed, glanced at me still lying there, and frowned. Go wash up. I got up stiffly, my legs so weak I could barely stand. The next second, he stepped forward, picked me up by the waist, and carried me into the bathroom.

Fifteen minutes later, he helped me finish my shower. With ease, he picked up the hair dryer and opened it. Then he dried every strand of my hair. Dante was careful, like I might break in his hands.

But my heart hurt so much I could barely breathe. He dried my hair, turned off the hairdryer, then grabbed a comb and combed He did not say a word the whole time. After combing my hair, I sat there, watching him walk toward the door.
