long don't worry about it sleep if you're tired eventually I really did fall asleep woke up a few times in a daze Jackson was still there each time by the last few stops the bus had mostly emptied out when I woke up again he was already gone next morning I stopped at the cafe near campus like usual back

with your boyfriend again for coffee i froze what followed his gaze turned around met ethan's eyes without meaning to olivia leaned out from behind him you guessed wrong he's my boyfriend barista looked at me then at ethan you must have gotten the wrong idea earlier those two dating a while back that was just a dare game none of it was real i'm his one and only girlfriend

friend. I grabbed my coffee, scanned to pay, turned to leave. A steaming water dispenser sits on the counter in front of you. A hand caught my arm, pulled me back. Ethan's grip tightened, his eyes dark. Still can't watch where you're walking? Olivia's smile stiffened second. I pulled my arm free. Thanks. Walked past both of them. Not long after I got to the research

room, Ethan showed up too. I caught him approaching out of the corner of my eye, stood up, and pulled Pulled out the chair at our table to make room. Ethan sat down. I sat back across from him.

Olivia came over. Ethan, I asked our professor if I could be your research partner. Sure. Olivia patted my shoulder sympathetic.

Chloe, unfortunate news.
