The Subject — Episode 9

God, what am I doing? What did the deep-sea mermaid you mentioned actually look like? Black hair, emerald eyes, razor-sharp fangs, claws far longer than any shallow-sea and a massive black-and-gold tail stretching almost eight feet.

You idiot! Didn't you notice those razor-sharp teeth, those long claws, and that insanely powerful He's just stronger than an ordinary mer-person. That's no mermaid.

It's a siren from legend. It could tear you open in seconds! But he never hurt me. When a siren finds its chosen mate, it doesn't ask for permission.

It hunts them, takes them to a place no one can find, and holds them captive until they carry its baby. Evacuate immediately! So I was wrong from the very beginning.

He's not a deep-sea meroporin. He's an entirely new species that's never been documented before. The research station has no real protection. To him, that place is just an opening door!

When can you secure the funding for reinforcements? I don't know. Until then, you need to leave immediately!
