The Breakup — Episode 8

The next afternoon, Sadie dragged me along to the Kingsley ice rink to drop off the hotel's lost and found I never expected to run into the two brothers in the locker room hallway. Jude was already there, taping his stick, when Weston walked past him without a word. You gonna keep pretending I don't exist?

I'm pretending you're not on this team. I earned my spot, same as you. You earned it because Dad's name is on the rink, everyone else earned it on the ice. What, are you holding a grudge and stalking me here?

Everyone turned and looked at me all at once. We're just here to drop off the lost and found log. She isn't stalking anyone. Brooke shrugged and shut her mouth. Weston's eyes went straight to my pocket.

Give it back. It's mine. You threw it. Doesn't mean I don't want it back. You don't get to talk to her like that.

Get out of my way, Jude, or I swear to God. Enough! Kane. My office. Now. Weston held Jude's stare a second longer. Then he walked off without looking at me.

He's not going to let this go. He never has.
