I exhaled and trailed right behind him. Finn knew the owner. He left me at a corner booth and disappeared. My phone rang. An unknown number, I answered. Sierra and Dylan were chatting on the line.

Dylan, why aren't you calling Ellie? Aren't you worried she actually left with I know her. She's a nerd. It was all a bluff. She's probably already asleep in her You seem pretty chill about it. Do you even care about her? Honestly, I never liked her that much anyway.

I pushed his hand away, slid off the barstool, and headed for the door. Where do you think you're going? I feel so hot. He'd helped me tonight. It wouldn't be right to force myself on him.
