physical violence, shugging, hitting, public humiliation. Most of the time it's cold. Cold, hostile behavior. Like your friend group intentionally leaving you out of meals, posts on social media only you don't understand, or the whole class going quiet and sniffling when the teacher calls on you. Small moments like these pile up, and they hurt worse than a physical blow.

Physical violence is obvious. Cold bullying is hard to put into words, but both are violence. If you're going through any of this, racial slurs, social exclusion, being treated like don't exist, please know it's not you being too sensitive. It's them crossing the line. Reach out your school counseling service, a teacher you trust, or you can do what Lorna does,
