swinging it lazily back and forth. Another zombie in a guard's uniform stood by her. His head was craned at an angle just like a human studying something.

No more waiting. I leapt off the balcony and hurried to the door, scratching frantically at the cabinet. The noise shattered the room's silence.

My owner rushed over, surprised: "Xiao Hei, stop scratching! Sound draws danger." I ignored him,

scratching while signaling him to move the cabinet. Quick, master! Catch on!
