File Zero — Episode 1

We once thought we were the only ones. Above the sky, below the deep sea, all unknowns belonged to this world. Until the door appeared.

It wasn't a real door. No frame, belonging to no building. It was just where two worlds briefly intertwined, a tear in reality.

We call it the Rift Point. The door's arrival proved the other side exists, and proved that the other side

comes through. At first, people tried to approach it, study it,

even cross it. Later, we understood: the door isn't an entrance. The door is danger itself.

Sounds come first. Shadows seep through. Then pollution, unknown creatures,

and things beyond naming. The longer the door stays open, the more unstable the surroundings become. Walls bend inward.

Light gets swallowed. Space collapses. An entire area gets dragged to the other side.
