When I woke up on an operating table everything was empty No clothes

No records No name The only thing tied to me was the number printed

on the white wristband N10 I don't know who I am Don't remember family

Don't remember any faces After I escaped the whole city was empty No bodies

No signs of a fight No blast residue No signs of attack Everything's still there

But everyone's gone One hundred eighty-three days I've been to three cities

Traffic lights still change Vending machines still glow Subway announcements still call the next stop

But the stop I arrived at had no passengers getting off No one waiting

I've shouted in a stadium for thousands on top of a plane on an aircraft carrier deck

No answer I might be the last person ever in this life
