I carry humanity's fate. Gu Wenwu introduced me to the base's only doctor – Lin Yan.

Ex-expert at the Southern Bio Institute. You want the original strain? Yes. When the virus hit,

our team rushed to People's Hospital. We fought to preserve samples. Hoping to find antibodies. But the virus mutated fast.

Power failed. Water got contaminated. Things got worse daily. Finally,

we sealed the original samples in the hospital's sub-level 3 vault. That area is now the city's most dangerous zone. Getting the strain out safely?

Nearly impossible. Before, you lacked resources. But now, the whole nation backs you.

People's Hospital is downtown, where infection began and crowds are densest. Especially the sample vault –

no one's been in for a decade. I sent people for the strain before. To develop a serum. Ten went in; one and a half came out.

One and a half? One intact person, and half a bitten leg. Thanks.

That's quite an image. So you can't just charge in. The ER at the main entrance is full of zombies. We need to create a diversion.

The sample vault is registered on B3. But the real one is on B4. To preserve the original strain, we moved it once. We relocated it temporarily.
